Is Sub Fam Legal?
Yes. The Terms of Use for most subscription services allow for shared across devices, households, and/or profiles.Sub Fam has reviewed to the most common subscription services to show members their plan's sharing capacity.Subscription services reserve the right to update their terms of use, and/or deny service based on your activity. If you are already sharing subscriptions with friends and/or families, Sub Fam helps you automate access and cost management.

How do Payments work?
Sub Fam facilitates payments between subscription owners and members.
When adding members, subscription owners can provide Venmo, Zelle, and/or Cash App usernames. Sub Fam uses these usernames to generate payment links with payee, payer, and other transaction details.Subscription owners can choose to automate payment reminders using Sub Fam. Sub Fam will send emails to members with payment links to make it easy to complete payments.
Who can see my payment information?
Your payment information is only visible to specific members of your subscription:- Only active members can see payment details
- Payment information is optional and can be removed anytime
- Payment history is only visible to subscription owners
- Email notifications contain payment details only for the recipient
What payment reminders to members receive?
When: a subscription owner sets a collection day on a subscription, and chooses to send payment reminders to the group, members will receive the following emails.

Then: members receive a payment reminder like this with a payment link that sets up a payment request from member to the owner on Venmo, CashApp, Paypal, or Zelle.

What Ifs:
- members of the subscription are not registered Sub Fam users: they will still receive emails.
- members want to unsubscribe from reminders: they can do so using the unsubscribe link on the emails.

How secure are my payment credentials?
We take security seriously. All sensitive information is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.Your account information is:- Encrypted before being stored
- Only accessible to authorized members
- Never stored in plain text
- Protected by additional security measures
How is my data used by Sub Fam?
Sub Fam does not sell your data to any companies or services. We do not use your data to advertise to you.Your subscription information is only available to you and your members.

How do I manage subscription members?
Managing members is straightforward:- Invite members via email
- Set individual contribution amounts
- Add payment details for automatic reminders
- Transfer ownership if needed
- Remove members when necessary
What communication do members receive when they are invited to a subscription?
When: Members will receive this email when subscription creators and/or owners switch the Send Email Invitation toggle on.

Then: Members receive an invite to the specific subscription they are invited to. The sender is be identified by their email address and the subscription they are sharing.

What Ifs:
- members don't accept invites: no problem at all. Subscription creators, owners, and other active members can continue to use Sub Fam. Members who do not accept invite will not be able to view account details needed for access.
- emails are not delivered: please follow-up with the member you invite within 24-48 hours of sending the invite. sometimes our emails end-up in the spam folder. We will only send an invite once.
